Intercruises Shoreside & Port Services is an experienced global business offering first class ground handling and port agency services to the Ocean and river cruise industry. Intercruises has over 300 port offices and operates in over 50 countries worldwide, providing turnaround, port agency, shore excursion and hotel reservation services.
 
We are inviting high potential candidate to be assigned as :
Operations & Product Manager Indonesia
this person will reports to Regional Director Asia
 
Requirements:
  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Business Studies Management/ Hospitality/Tourism/Hotel Management or equivalent.
  • At least 2-3 years of working experience in the travel field is  a MUST for this position.
  • Effective leadership and excellent people developer and motivator.
  • Strategic business developer, sales experience is welcomed.
  • Proficient in budgeting and forecasting and possess strong presentation skills.
  • Effective communication, interpersonal administrative and organizational skills.
  • Previous Managerial experience, welcomed.
  • Excellent knowledge of English and Bahasa Indonesia
  • Requires excellent communication skills – both oral and written.
  • Mature, diplomatic, goal orientated and good time management
  • Positive attitude and flexibility.
  • Able to work in a fast pace environment
  • Able to work extended hours and weekends and under pressure.
  • Availability to travel within the region.
 
Role
  • Oversee from 2 to 70 people depending of the operations requirements.
  • Day to day preparation and operations of tours, transfers, hotel bookings and turnaround services.
  • Scheduling and task assignment within the team.
  • Product assessment and development within Indonesia
  • Liaise with transportation, hotels , restaurants and other venues and insure smooth operation, payments and customer service follow up
  • Contract suppliers and negotiate rate.
  • Compile bids proposals for cruise lines.
  • Train and implement all Intercruises standards within the team
  • Achieve targets, identify trends and develop sales and marketing strategies in order to meet budgets and forecast.
  • Staff periodical assessment.
  • Establish a good working relationship with clients and local authorities but also with colleagues in the cruise and travel industry for networking purposes.
